Summer arrives with a sweet equilibrium here in the Roaring Fork Valley. Warm days on the trail are followed by cool evening strolls. Extended hours of sunshine are complimented with refreshing evening glows over the silhouettes of the peaks.

The season’s energy is enriched by the people with which your experiences are shared. Students are home from college and grandparents are ready for a reunion. Here are a handful of spectacular ways to celebrate the summer season with the entire family from morning to night.

Wild Yoga

After an easy mountain bike ride or hike, it’s time to stretch it out. Join Aspen Yoga Society and the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies for outdoor yoga classes all summer long. The 75-minute sessions are taught adjacent to Hallam Lake and are open to all levels of yoga experience. Bring your mat and be ready to unwind with asanas and yoga philosophy.
