March 3, 2015 – A series of storm cycles in the Rockies has brought an abundance of new snowfall to Aspen Snowmass. With up to 10 inches in the past 24 hours, it’s another powder day! As you can see in the photos below, guests and staff at The Little Nell have been enjoying the supreme conditions.
From this latest storm, Snowmass reported 10 inches of new snowfall overnight, with Aspen Highlands announcing eight inches, Aspen Mountain six inches and Buttermilk five inches.
In the past seven days, Snowmass has received 35 inches of new snow, Aspen Highlands with 27 inches, Aspen Mountain gained 23 inches and Buttermilk rounded out the report at 16 inches.
Overall, snow totals for the 2014/15 ski and ride season are at almost 15 feet of snow accumulation.
