The Little Nell is proud to bring a new event to Aspen this Labor Day on the Ajax Tavern patio at the base of Aspen Mountain. The Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival and BBQ will feature unlimited oysters on the half shell, Rockefeller oysters and other creative oyster hors d’oeuvres including the famed Rocky Mountain oyster.
“In addition to delicious oysters, there will also be whole-roasted pork and lamb for those feeling more carnivorous,” said Sabato Sagaria, food and beverage director for The Little Nell and founder of the festival. “And for those brave enough to try, we’ll have delicious Rocky Mountain oysters — not on the half shell.”
The event will be from 4-9 p.m. on Sept. 3 and will feature live music as well as specialty cocktails from Peach Street Distillers in Palisade, Colorado. New Belgium Brewing Company will be pouring Colorado brews, and assorted wines by the glass and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available included in the ticket price.

The event is “all you can eat/drink.”
The Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival and BBQ is a 21 and over event. Participants must have a valid i.d. to enter and enjoy. Limited edition t-shirts featuring the Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival and BBQ logo will be available for purchase.M
