Mid-week Cocktail Fix

We’ve started a new tradition this summer at The Little Nell. Every Wednesday we’re posting one of our summer cocktails from the Montagna Bar along with a recipe so you can re-create your favorites at home, wow your guests or simply enjoy knowing the mixology secrets of our talented bar staff.

This week we felt like something a little flirty. A little sparkling. A lot of fun.

Our Montagna Martini is INCREDIBLY popular, but with one taste, you’ll understand why. It’s light. It’s bubbly. It packs a punch. Here are our secrets to this perfect martini.

Montagna Martini

• 2 oz Van Gogh Wild Apple Vodka
• 1 oz St. Germain
• Prosecco

Combine Vodka & St. Germain in a mixing glass with ice.  Shake vigorously.  Strain into a chilled martini glass with a sugar rim; top with Prosecco. Garnish with a ginger pickled apple bon bon*.

Fun facts: St. Germain is an all-natural Elderflower Liqueur produced in France; released in 2007.

*Ginger pickled apple bon bons are made in-house at The Little Nell with fresh peeled ginger root, lemon juice (for preserve) and grenadine. You can substitute… well, maybe don’t try to substitute this. Try garnishing yours at home with a fresh berry or even a slice of apple.
