As part of our new Skiing & Winter Adventures program, The Little Nell’s thrilled to present our private Snowcat Powder Tours on Fridays during the 2014-2015 season. For our debut outing on December 19, conditions couldn’t have been any more favorable with a foot of fresh snow blanketing the backcountry, flurries in the morning and sunny skies in the afternoon.

Each week, The Little Nell’s Managing Director Simon Chen and Director of Sales Pete Hayda welcome guests for ten coveted spots in our luxurious snowcat. Aspen Mountain Powder Tours provides two expert guides and a driver who lead the group to prime, untracked stashes on the backside of Aspen Mountain.
For more than thirty years, Aspen Mountain Powder Tours has held their permit for 1,200 skiable acres (486 hectares) of terrain that drops off either side of Richmond Ridge – nearly double the terrain on Ajax and all awaiting your tracks. On average, guests amass 10 runs and 10,000 vertical feet (about 3,000 meters) of skiing or snowboarding each day. As there’s no cap to the number of runs, the faster the group, the more laps you’ll be able to have.

With delectable snacks provided in the cat by The Little Nell, you’ll have a chance to refuel after each run before a late afternoon, gourmet lunch at Café Bernaise, a charming cabin warmed by wood-burning stove and filled with delicious dishes from The Sundeck’s chefs complemented by element 47 cuvée wines.
