Your Chance for First Tracks — and More — on Ajax
This ski season has been one for the record books — and it’s not over yet! Thankfully, we have just the ticket you need to savor every last moment of this epic winter with our First Tracks Adventure.
Picture yourself here:
On a bluebird Colorado morning, you’re standing first in line to board the Silver Queen Gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain. The air is crisp, the snow is perfect, and the excitement of your guide and fellow skiers is palpable.
As the gondola crests Bell Mountain, all you can see below is perfectly groomed corduroy — or, if it happens to be one of Colorado’s crisp powder days (and we’ve had plenty of those this year!), pillows of fresh fluff await. In just moments, this will all be yours.
And, as you click into your skis or strap on your snowboard, it all becomes real: You are the first person carving tracks down Ajax. The mountain isn’t even open to the public yet. Ahhhh ….
But don’t stop the experience with just one lap. Ride the gondy back to the top, take a few more turns, and indulge in breakfast at Bonnie’s. A steaming cup of fresh, hot coffee, homemade pancakes fresh off the griddle, a side of fruit — the perfect fuel for a full day on the slopes (and a local’s tradition that lives on for good reason!).
