White Christmas in Aspen

The forecasted winter storm that swept across the western United States Dec. 21 dropped eight inches of new snow overnight on Snowmass and Aspen Highlands, as well as seven inches on Aspen Mountain and Buttermilk  – priming Aspen and The Little Nell for a White Christmas.

According to Aspen Snowmass’ snow report today, Dec. 22, both Snowmass and Aspen Mountain have seen a total of 15 inches of new snow over the last seven days, with Aspen Highlands receiving 14 inches and Buttermilk 12 inches. Throughout the month of December, Aspen Snowmass has received up to 45 inches of new snow making for a soft ski/ride surface for the coming Holidays.

From The Little Nell, we wish one and all a Happy White Christmas!
