Aspen Mountain

The Oasis – The champagne pop-up bar will make its final appearance of the season on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The location clue: RACE you there.

Ajax Tavern will have DJ Dylan on Saturday, April 13, and DJ Naka G will spin Sunday, April 14. Drink specials and champagne specials with Veuve Clicquot will also be available.

Schneetag, Sunday, April 14 at Snowmass – 1:30 – 3 p.m.

This hilarious event is one not to miss. The 6th annual Schneetag event (pronounced Sch-knee Tog) invites teams of four to create a craft that they will pilot down a slope by Spider Sabich Race Arena at the base of the superpipe on Snowmass and attempt to float across a 30 x 20 foot pond.  Every team has a theme and will perform a skit before they descend. Teams are judged based on creativity, skit performance, craft construction and success in riding the course. Top prizes include GoPro Hero 3 Black Editions, concert tickets, Smith Optics goggles, Helly Hansen gear, local restaurant gift certificates and much more. Entry is free, and free foot passes for the Burlingame lift will be available from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. so everyone can enjoy the action. Click here for more information.

Up next, Aspen Highlands will close for the season on Sunday, April 21. Call 970-923-1227 for more information.

Also, The Little Nell will close its doors on Sunday, April 14, and will reopen May 16. Ajax Tavern will close after the party on the 14th but will re-open in early May.
