Scott Clark is a photographer based in Los Angeles who frequently shoots weddings for The Little Nell. His background in photography started as a child, when he and his father built a darkroom in their basement. His professional background is primarily in the commercial and editorial fields, shooting for clients such as the Gap, Crate and Barrel, GQ, Martha Stewart, Hallmark and Mr. and Mrs. Smith Hotels.

We asked Scott why he loves photographing weddings at The Nell. He shares his favorite Aspen wedding moments with us below:

“I approach shooting weddings and events with a natural, candid feel. My goal is to create timeless and classic pieces of fine art that my clients will cherish for a lifetime. I started shooting weddings 8 years ago when my wife, Jillian, started a wedding blog called 100 Layer Cake. I am the studio photographer for their site and together, we create custom content for a range of commercial clientele within the wedding industry.”

Pamela_Karl__1268 “Shooting in Aspen is a dream. I love incorporating the landscape of my locations into my portraits, and there is an endless source of natural beauty and epic scenery around every corner.”
