My Ski Vacation – By Tyler Arscott, Age 13

At The Little Nell, it’s important to us that every guest has a memorable visit – including adults and kids alike. It’s especially fulfilling to hear from those after they’ve enjoyed their stay, such as 13-year-old Tyler Arscott who shared an essay below with us.

The Little Nell is the ultimate five star ski lodge. There you will find great food, amazing skiing, and a convenient location. It is located in Aspen, Colorado. My favorite place to ski is The Little Nell.

At The Little Nell the food service is fabulous! The best pancakes I have ever consumed, other than my own pancakes, were at The Little Nell. But don’t worry if you don’t like pancakes, they have plenty of other options on their extensive menu. And if you can’t get enough of their amazing food, they have 24-hour room service for each day of the week.

The Little Nell has amazing skiing. Because The Little Nell in located on Aspen Mountain, it takes a whopping 24 steps to get to the gondola. Aspen Mountain is not just any mountain. Simply put, it is the preeminent place to ski. The skiing level on Aspen Mountain is expert, but there are tons of slopes for everyone.

The Little Nell is in the small city of Aspen, one of the best ski cities in the world. Everything you could possibly want is in Aspen, including four different mountains, a recreational center, tons of shops, and great restaurants. Everything in Aspen is within walking distance and in case you prefer not to walk, the Little Nell taxi service will take you anywhere you want to go. Aspen is one of the friendliest towns in the world. The people who live there live by one rule: Snow equals skiing plus no work.

The best hotel is in Aspen, The Little Nell. With amazing food service, fun and easy skiing, and plenty of things to do, it is a great resort. Going skiing at the Little Nell was not my best vacation. Nonetheless The Little Nell is the best ski lodge that I have ever been to.
