May Selby – Director of Public Relations + Social Media
May moved to Aspen after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder where she majored in French with a minor in Art History. Her luxury resort experience includes nearly a decade at Timbers Resorts working in marketing, public relations and social media. What she loves most about The Little Nell is its international reach and recognition as an award-winning property yet intimate connection to guests and the Aspen community.
When she’s not entertaining media and sharing news from The Nell, she loves to travel, run marathons, ski, write her weekly column for The Aspen Times, moonlight as DJ Mayfly and spend time with her family.
May earned her introductory certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers and enjoys learning about wine with an affinity for red and white Burgundies.
Janelle Patrick – Public Relations Manager
Janelle graduated from Colorado State University in May 2015, where she majored in Journalism and Media Communication and minored in Business Administration. She joined The Little Nell team in the summer 2015 as PR & Marketing Coordinator and was promoted to PR Manager in the spring of 2018.
Among her favorite aspects of The Nell – the high percentage of repeat guests, unique amenities from pet friendly accommodations to the complimentary mini bar and the thrilling adventures offered year-round.
In her spare time, she teaches fitness classes, loves to ski and bike and hike. Having recently earned her introductory certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers, she enjoys learning about wine and taking classes offered by The Nell’s esteemed sommeliers.
