An element 47 pop-up at Boulder Burgundy Fest

Burgundy Boulder Fest has been a highlight every fall for The Little Nell who has participated since 2012, this time presenting an element 47 pop-up dinner in the Chapel Hall at The Academy on Friday, October 23, an extraordinary evening of wine, cuisine and service.

The Nell’s Executive Chef Matt Zubrod, element 47 Chef de Cuisine Matt Padilla, Sous Chef Rachel Koppelman and Executive Banquet Chef Keith Theodore have created a menu reflective of element 47’s acclaimed New American cuisine. Please see below.

The Master Sommelier team comprised of Carlton McCoy, Jay Fletcher, and Brett Zimmerman will be supported by The Nell’s Assistant Food & Beverage Director Csaba “Chubby” Oveges who will oversee service, ensuring the evening is nothing short of perfect.

A Champagne reception with an assortment of wines and two special White Burgundy wines selected by Carlton McCoy will precede the dinner.

Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac in Burgundy has graciously offered three selections of wine from the family’s library collection – 1996 Dujac Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru, 1998 Dujac Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, and 1999 Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru. A very special guest, winemaker Guillaume Lavollé from Burgundy’s Domaine Génot-Boulanger, will be flying in for the festival – his first ever visit to Colorado.
