Vote in Valrhona’s Easter Contest

Curtis Cameron, executive pastry chef at The Little Nell, is back at it with more beautiful creations. A member of the prestigious Valrhona Cercle V association of chefs, his latest pièce de résistance is this decadent dessert, which he entered in Valrhona’s Easter Contest.

Entitled “Spring Reborn,” his showpiece represents the shift from a cold, dark and harsh winter to the warmth and rejuvenation of spring. Says Curtis, “I have tried to highlight this in my piece by going from a dark winter on the bottom represented by the dark chocolate to gradually showing the progression of color and warmth to white chocolate and the blooming flowers. I also wanted to really highlight the strength and adaptability of life by have the stems of the flowers breaking through the eggs to show the strength it takes to overcome the cold and darkness of winter.”
