As the 2015 Winter X Games approach, preparations are in full swing and features are shaping up on Buttermilk – the Host Mountain for 13 years in a row. The four-day extravaganza kicks off Thursday, January 22, with daily competitions and musical acts including Chromeo, Skrillex, Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg.
New this year, Aspen Snowmass is launching Platinum and Gold VIP packages designed to elevate the Winter X Games experience. As a guest of The Little Nell, transportation to and from the events is easy. Just hop on one of our complimentary guest shuttles departing from the hotel 15 and 45 minutes after the hour with returns from Buttermilk on the hour and half hour. Keep in mind, shuttles are by request only so be sure to call the Transportation Department to arrange yours.
Rather not make the commute? Drop in to our après-ski bar, Chair 9 for X Games-inspired drink specials, three screens showing all the action, and special events with X Games athletes to be announced. Chair 9 is open daily from 2-8 PM with live music from 4-7 PM.
