More than skiing on Aspen Mountain

Skiing on Aspen Mountain is unbeatable, but with the addition of slope-side activities such as complimentary yoga, there’s plenty of reasons to take a break from the powder this winter.

Guests and locals may partake in complimentary Yoga atop Aspen Mountain Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. inside the Sundeck. Yoga for Skiers lets guests stretch and loosen up properly before an action-packed day on the slopes. Mats are provided; however, guests must have a valid lift pass to participate. The first class is November 23.

On Saturdays starting Dec. 22, the Sundeck atop Aspen Mountain will offer its popular First Tracks Breakfast program where guests may upload the gondola before it opens to the general public at 8:00 a.m. and then enjoy breakfast on top of Aspen Mountain.

“While eating dishes like buttermilk pancakes and hearty breakfast burritos, guests can also chat with Aspen Mountain insiders, share ski tips or even learn the location of those secret powder stashes,” said Tracy Duhe, Sundeck general manager. “Then those guests get to be the first ones to hit the slopes.”

First Tracks Breakfast is limited to 80 guests. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the gondola ticket office. Tickets should be purchased by 4:30 p.m. the day before. Guests must also have a valid lift ticket. Foot passes with breakfast for non-skiers are available for $35.
