Fishing Report: The Green Drake hatch is on!

(Green Drakes are large insects that evidently taste really good to trout. Fish like to eat them when they are hatching in large numbers, which is happening now in the local Roaring Fork Valley, making it a great time to fish with Green Drake flies.)

From Basalt to Aspen, multiple hatches of Green Drakes, Pale Morning Duns and small Golden Stones are making fishing on the Roaring Fork River spectacular.

The best times to fish are early morning and late evening.
