Uncorked! in Germany
Just back from a week in Germany and loads of great wine! Riesling is truly one of the greatest grapes on earth. A Riesling can range from bone-dry to very sweet, and the best have high acidity and great tension. Though my thirst was quenched, my search for the perfect schnitzel will continue..
On a special holiday note: When you reach for the turkey this week, don’t forget to open a Riesling Kabinett… or two. 2008 Dr Loosen “Blue Slate” from the Mosel is one that we will be quaffing at The Little Nell for our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.
